AN EPIC STORY,

CARRIED FORWARD.

Two limited-edition designs, inspired by the Porsche 550 Coupé #152 and Guatemala’s victory in the 1953 Carrera Panamericana.

152 collection

What would Perera have crafted for that race?

That question became the starting point for PERERA 152. Looking back at the Porsche 550 Coupé that José “Chepito” Herrarte and Carlos González raced in the fourth Carrera Panamericana, we imagined how its story could take shape in footwear. The result is two original designs, bringing the character of the period into the present through proportion, material, and craft.

IV carrera panamericana - 1953

+3,000 km / 8 stages

THE ORIGIN / 1953

152. A Guatemalan Victory.

Behind the number were two Guatemalans taking on one of the most demanding road races of their time. Their story gave this collection its starting point, and a connection that reaches from the roads of Mexico to our workshop in Antigua Guatemala.

THE INTERPRETATION / ANTIGUA GUATEMALA

An original design, developed from the ground up.

We began with a new last, exploring proportions and lines that could carry the character of the era. Brown leather, cream stitching, and measured touches of yellow became our vocabulary. Each decision translated something of the car’s presence into footwear with an identity of its own.

Two expressions of the same story.

GT 152 and GTX 152 began with the same question. Each explores it through a different silhouette, sharing a palette, an attention to construction, and a connection to the car that inspired them.

Top Quality materials

Full grain Italian leather brings warmth and depth to the collection. French Lactae Hevea soles bring all day comfort.

A Trace of the 152

Restrained flashes of yellow carry a recognizable detail from the car into the language of both designs.

an exclusive edition

Each pair is handmade in our workshop in Antigua Guatemala, each one individually numbered.

A guatemalan victory

A Guatemalan story from 1953 finds a new expression in the hands of a Guatemalan workshop. PERERA 152 carries that connection forward, in two limited-edition designs made to become part of your own story.
